What the heck? When were you guys at my club? The links at lakehouse is the DOPEST deal around by a mile dude. I freaking love being a member there. I also want to point out that the course is NORMALLY in even much better condition than you're seeing it in this video. California had the wettest winter it's had in decades, and this course doesn't drain super well. Because of that, some of the holes weren't able to dry properly, and that's where a lot of those dead spots on the fairways came from. It's quickly turning around though and they keep the course is really good condition. The greens are super pure, and they're going to be re-doing all of the bunkers with better sand this year AND cart paths. It's gotta be the best value membership in socal. I also want to point out that being a member here INCLUDES unlimited access to their executive course as well! Super fun place to hone in the short game. If you guys ever want to come back and film content, I can get you on any time 👍👍

The $1000 membership looked pretty nice for the price. Around here, it's $400-500 for the basic membership at municipal courses. The country club in my town sometimes has deals for $2500 for a family, but it isn't a typical country club. They're about the equivalent of a municipal course. 1 town over, the memberships all vary. The cheapest is something like $10k and it doesn't give you access to the locker room. You also have quarterly amounts that you need to spend at the course to keep your membership. Of course, this is all heresy because the website has you fill a form out and talk to them directly about becoming a member. Nowhere online can you find current prices. I was told by multiple people that when they redid the course a few years back, the rates skyrocketed.

i play at a course that is 400 a year and it is just as much fun to play as any of them. layout is great, fways are good,and the rough is a little patchy,the greens are good but a little slow and we still have a blast. i like you grant,but you probably would not be caught dead on my course. by the way,cudos for what you did for henry. thats a true friend as he deserves it, he's a good guy and a heck of a player

Agree with you on the Grint. Tried using it for shot tracking and it just slows play too much. I still use it for tracking scores, but I generally keep track on the card and enter it into the Grint between holes or every few holes when I’ve got a minute. For shot tracking I use Arccos with the link or watch. I don’t care if it misses a few shots here and there, I just correct it at the end of the round.

It's crazy the golf membership fees at some of these courses. Because of this video, I've looked up some of the membership fee's at my local golf courses "which I do work for the clubs on a weekly basis" are, and some of them are 165000 plus some 32000+ in dues per year. Insane. I will gladly pay $20-30 in the afternoon at the cheap courses. Ty
