OSU fan here. Art Briles' talking shit about not getting into the playoff pissed me off. Game looked really lopsided, but Sparty never gave up and proved they are one of the top teams in the nation. Lots of respect and love for our B1G teams showing up.

And the stupid part about it was that ref calling a penalty "unsportsmanlike conduct on Michigan State defense" after Riley Bullough picked off Betty, which to me is stupid. Honestly, who cares. MSU had a reason to celebrate.

Watching this game made me realize- Narduzzi leaving was the death blow to the Spartans. If he had stayed on, we would have had many more of these kinds of seasons in the years after.

This was a great game, and as a Spartan, I loved it. But I have to say that I feel sorry - especially for Petty. These are kids - the "old men" are 21 or 22, and they played their hearts out. This has to have been crushing for them. The closest I ever experienced was playing intramural football at MSU. We made it to the university championship, and won on a late touchdown, and I was so pumped up I will never forget it, but I recall seeing one of our opponents from Wilson Hall lying on the ground with his head in his hands after the game, then I imagine that times 1,000 for these kids. There can only be one winner, and I am glad it was MSU, but these kids from Baylor were basically the same as ours, and watched their big dream get crushed. Sometimes I wish I had never gotten oold enough to think of such things.

Nah screw those kids- they were talking about how disrespected they were to have to play lowly Michigan State as their opponent. This win was Poetic Justice- and perhaps more importantly an important life lesson to never underestimate your opponent and to see things through until the end.

This was a really gratifying win.....not just because we came back from such a huge deficit to get the W but because, like um fans/players, Baylor had already written us off and were acting like they were guaranteed to win when there was still WAAAAAAAAAY too much time left in that game. I hear you, but you look at a team like Ohio State who analysts, critics(and Art Briles) thought that didn't deserve to be in the CFP, so for the lowest seed team with all they had to go through beat the best 2 teams in the country, it makes the CFP more important than it was before, if it was either Alabama or Oregon that won it, it would have been good for college football, not as great with OSU winning it(again I don't like the Fuckeyes)
