When I was playing with R/C rally cars as a kid I always dreamed of having a super scale accurate, low speed 1/10 off roader with a Land Rover shell to play with in the woods, but those kind of models didn't exist yet. This is exactly as I imagined it when I was a kid, it even has the Mk1 Disco body like my grandad drove in the '90s! Lovely stuff.

@vintage1522 Жыл бұрын
love this one, as All the others also. I am building my 3rd brx01 and looking to do something other than the lc70 body, as I have 2 already. Love the discovery body. Did you have to change anything with the axles for this? I was told to use the brx70 to brx90 conversion., and the boom racing discovery body mounting set. Really afraid to do this body as I am horrible at painting. May have to have someone paint it for me. You did a wonderful build and video. Ay advice for this body on a brx01 would be great!!
@KobtsevRC Жыл бұрын
Yes, you were absolutely correct. You need to expand the axles with the help of a kit. BRX70 to BRX90 and boom racing discovery body mounting set asiate.es/aff?l=205293&i=94028 asiate.es/aff?l=204190&i=94028

@@KobtsevRC thanks, just wondering if this body is a bit harder than the 2 lc70 bodies I did for my other brx01s. Seems like this one will take some ingenuity as far as drilling holes and placement of those holes. I would hate to mess it up. Don't know if I will be able to. do this body. Maybe I have to have someone do the body, or just do another LC70 body. Do not really want 3 of the same bodies. So I need to do the brx90 axle conversion and not the brx80 conversion?
@KobtsevRC Жыл бұрын
yes you need BRX90 i did BRX80 and add extended better if you use BTX90. I think that there is nothing difficult in assembling this case, you can see my video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJzRn4p5er55a8k

While turning the screws can get old, especially on a big build, I suggest that often we do ourselves a disservice if we reach for an electric screwdriver when a true hand tool would do the job. 🤔
@KobtsevRC2 жыл бұрын
yes, I try to use a hand screwdriver to loosen or tighten the screws. I only use it when I need to move a lot.
