1/10 Scale WPL C74 Review and drive shaft issue fix

So in this video I Review the New 1/10 scale C74 from WPL. This Little truck is awesome, and it looks great but just like any RC there are issues which I found and think I resolved. I think this thing can be a great trail truck with some tweaks. That's main WPL problem, you end up paying more for upgrades and frustration than go directly and buy a real crawler. Although body is nice so will wait until available. Thank for the review.

This is what I found that to replace the Set Pins in the Metal drive shafts for this scale.{ 1.5 x 10mm Cylindrical Shelf Support Pin 304 Stainless Steel Dowel Pin } Note: Some Drive shaft assemblies will require a bit of filing to get to the Desired 9.8mm Length. That will fix your lost pin problem. I also use a 100lb magnet to search my area for lost stock items. Also Note that you need the C 54 drive shaft assembly for the rear c74 replacement.

thanks for the info @delbirt but the driveshaft does not hold on with a pin its held on by a screw. and unfortunately the driveshaft is plastic so a magnet for me will not help. I also know exactly where it came off and all I will need to do is move a few Rocks and I will be able to find it. But the issue that the C74 has is the actual driveshaft so Im not really worried about finding that particular part of the driveshaft

@@rccargarage The Pins are for the Steal WPL driveshaft that you lost the pin for. Magnets are great for finding such pins and grub screws from under baseboard or floor cracks. Just commenting off the cuff with your vid, sorry for the confusion. Also, I made a mistake on a good replacement driveshaft, the proper model is the C44, it's rear driveshaft fits the D series with long or modified chassis rails.

Podes fazer um pino com um prego ou entao um eixo k segura nas engrenagens dos carros mais foleiros cortas á medida está feito ja perdi muitos pinos e faço sempre com esses eixos... esse carrito parece interessante abraço irmao

Obrigado amigo eu tenho algumas ideias para fazer um pino mas qual quer maneira o eixo da transmissão e pequeno tenho que arranjar um mais longos

Eu já mandei um email para wpl perguntar se tinha eixos de transmissão para este veiculo porque cheguei discrobir que essa é a razão que o eixo traseira fica preza

Thats what I thought also but its the driveshaft binding up

@@rccargaragehow do you fix this issue? I’ve found that when I accelerate when turning deep left or deep right I get that noise and the truck makes a jerky motion while driving.

@@005connect9 I get that too im still looking into that to me it seems like something in the hubs are binding up but im not sure
