I went up Salmon Creek Trail to S. Coast Ridge Road and then east to check on Starpoint Trail water cache to make sure no bears got to it, then down the Dutra Trail, had a painful spill gave me a headache actually since it was so jarring, then down the Dutra Flat Camp and then out on the Spruce Creek Trail and finally the last bit of Salmon Creek Trail. Had to hike back in the dark the last mile which was super sketchy and not fun. Next time I think I don't need a headlamp I'm bringing one again. Don't want to repeat that again, especially with aching SI Joints and weary from the mileage. I'm guessing 15-16 miles today and oh.. 4000, 4500 elevation climb/descend. Will check later on Gaia to make sure but that's my guess.
