One thing with this is that the shield actually seems to be a working prototype of the Wing's shield with the saber stored there. It's also got a massive improvement over the HG Wing Zero's transformation by not requiring a replacement of the feet for it. As a side note, the Wing Finiche seems more based on the Wing than the Zero

I really love this kit. It's one of my favorite Build series kits, and in my opinion, a direct improvement over the HG Wing Zero. The addition of buster rifle storage, a shield that can store a beam saber, and folding feet for a transformation with zero parts swapping, make it feel technically superior. Bird Mode still feels like a Gundam laying down with a shield on its back, but that's due to the Wing Zero's lazy transformation more than anything.

I hope in the new build fighters series we get to see this bad boy in action straight out of the box I wouldn't change a thing expect for maybe panel lining it. And as someone who is just getting started I think this will be my first kit for it's flare.

Maybe what you could do to help with the Neo Bird Model's silhouette is manipulate the boosters so that they're on level with the shield. It does push the shoulders down to a diagonal angle but it severely helps the silhouette. I don't find many who do this with this or the HGAC

The reason those sprung was because (sorry for the language) transforming robots were the shit back then and there are ones that look great to like the aegis gundam (although it is a pain to transform the mg) but that is just my opinion. Also can you do mg reviews since the only detailing you need to the is lining it and applying some but not all the decals it came with

They can't do that because Honoo could be the next season for build fighters. The team consist of Wing Zero Honoo, Destiny Honoo and Zeta Honoo. Just in case you don't there's a photo novel called Build fighters Honoo.

The Gunpla you mentioned are all models made by the same character, Yusei Kouen, in the photonovel spinoff Build Fighters Honoo. There is also a sequel, Build Fighters Honoo Try, which features Yusei as the advisor of a three-person Gunpla team. The models used, if memory serves, were the Freedom Gundam Flame Feder, Justice Gundam Dash, and Flag Flare.

This was my first Gunpla ever, given to me by a friend. While I wasn't excited for it at first, I quickly grew to like it's fiery aesthetics. As you said, posing it was quite the problem, but I was able to use the stand it came with to get some pretty nice poses. My only regret now is not getting the extra wing attachments, however only a few were ever given out. I may try kit bashing it with 00 Quanta, if that's even possible. Wish me luck!

Jeremy Huston Ye. I'm sure it's part of the design of the suits in Wing, but I am not sure how to exactly describe it. Honoo has lots of curved pieces layered over it, like how Epyon and Wing Zero have nearly identical shoulder armor. That's the best description I can give.

I got my wing zero honoo after seeing this video and put it together yesterday and I gotta say as my first wing era mobile suit the honoo is a very stylish Gundam and the arms can in fact utilize a fair amount of the double joints and I'm genuinely curious how some parts of this Gundam would look on other hgs ^^

It seems like Bandai starts out with the 1/144 HG scale models first then they build the 1/100 scale which is what i love more. Bigger models are more fun when it comes to building, and display.

The shield is RIDICULOUSLY hard to put on. As cool as it looks I may just end up posing it without the shield and keep the beam saber on, since it contrasts the red and white so well. >I literally just finished the snap build just now. Planning to paint it some other time.

Sir Saber Thought about it, but there's detail underneath that I liked seeing (the knees and wings). Then with the shoulders/head I didn't like the idea of the backsides being completely silver - they don't lay flat on any surface so it would look odd from some angles.

ZephyranthesGP01 Well, they're definitely not at the level of an MG or PG, but they tend to work well enough. I mean, yes they are lower quality but that's also the reason we've been able to get more clear parts on these cheaper kits.

What main series is this from? Build Fighters or Build Fighters Try? Also, if you get annoyed with the wings, just take them off. In my opinion, he looks better without them, and, if you don't want him with any weapons, put the shield on it like you would in the Neo Bird mode and just leave it as a boost kit. Another note, do you have any problems with the beam saber handle attaching to the shield? My one keeps dropping off, which is why I don't use it at all.

i would customize the Wing Zero with Honoo bc of it lack transformation and weapon storage like the feet, on the MG the feet fold the same way as this one but the Wing Zero feet go inside his leg. i would also customize his Shoulders to hold his beam sabers sense it suppose to have them there in the first place but have to shorten the beam sabers to fit in the shoulders

On your review on the Kampfer amazing, you mentioned something anout tightening the waist joint to prevent the cannons from bring down the model. What did you mean by "tightening" and can this be used on other joints like ball joints?

fred deklI only like Quanta in its regular form. Burst, and especially ELS, are dumb. Still prefer Exia to it. Pick a model kit you like the look of.
