Best junkyard diorama I've seen! You should enter it at a scale show. Looks as if it was based on an existing junkyard somewhere. Very good work.

Thank you, it's not based on any particular junkyard, but just built out of my own imagination. But it's inspired by junkyards in the southwest of America.

That’s the best job I’ve ever seen. I want to make my own model car junkyard diorama soon. Questions. Where did you get all of the cars and parts and make them look like that?

Well thank you. Cool, just go right ahead. I've have been buying up cheap model cars for many years now. Often cars that had some sort of damage. Thereby getting them cheap. My techniques have evolved from the time that video was filmed. So now I making them a lot better. Also using more expensive cars now. There are plenty of weathering methods on KZbin, so use them as guiding tutorials.

Hey. A little over 60 cars and trucks. the diorama is about 6 feet by 4.9 feet. :-)

May I know where you got the Crown Victoria from?

I can't really be sure, or more correctly I can't remember, but I think it's an old Maistro model. It had all the police equipment on it, but no decals. Just plain white. Bought it from a private collector here in Denmark.
