Enderman pick up podsol blocks, perhaps creating this farm around an enderman farm is a better option as the falling enderman will occasionally pick up the blocks, harvesting them upon falling to their death. This also works with clay blocks and is the only way to automatically harvest Mycelium without a silk touch tool.

I feel like we need a new block in vanilla to place blocks, let's call it a plopper, so dispensers would do dispensery things, droppers would do droppery things, and ploppers would plop blocks directly on themselves in whatever direction they're ppinted in (all six directions just like droppers and dispensers). Alternative name: despenser- like dispenser, but with an e instead of an i. Plopspenser would also be pretty funny.

Since this would mainly be for Podzol, with Cobblestone and Spruce Logs being byproducts, I think it might be smart to have a merger for the Podzol and Nether tree farm, so you could have both running at the same time (assuming something like what you used with the Nether tree farm could be reused like this)
@matrices0 Жыл бұрын
The problem with that is the tnt blast chamber can’t handle multiple input streams simultaneously
@_DewGaming Жыл бұрын
@@matrices0 Correct, Mango even mentioned that in the video. I mean combine them before they get split in the blast chamber, like what the nether tree farm works

@FlexNiko Жыл бұрын
i dont understand why it was so easy to merge now, but for the 2 tree farms, you had to build such a complicated system to merge the 2 lines.. now you've basically had only like 5 blocks for the merging rather than a 7x15 contraption :D
@ilmango Жыл бұрын
not sure what you mean exactly. I had to make a complicated system to manage two independant farms telling them to stop making new blocks until the system is ready to accept new blocks again. Here I just merge block streams knowing that the other farm is off. It would be an absolute nightmare of complexity to run both the dirt farm and the nether tree farm at the same time though, that's why I don't even consider this option
