I don't mean to sound stupid but what is someone has big breast and a big bottom but a really long from shoulder to bust and short waist? I guess I just don't understand how you can use one size dress form to do the pleats and things?
@ICECREAMCONE50525 жыл бұрын
@@classicroyaltydesignsanita7294 I mean would you usr a size 2 dress form for a size 14? I just feel like it would help to have the dress for for the size your makiing because it wouldn't fit the form right. I'm no professional it just a concern of mine given im a newbie.

Was your ready made patterns for the basic top& bottom bigger than your clients measurements? You lost me at that part, because I wasn't sure if you adjusted the pattern size. Also I have some non stretch sequence mesh fabric. The design print is going horizontal selvage to selvage..the correct way you really should cut it . is it ok if i cut my fabric where the print is vertical? I'm using a stretch material for the back

I figured she was smaller. I just didn't understand when you cut it, how you adjusted it. it looked like you cut the pattern you already had. Maybe I'm sleepy and need to watch it again lol. And thanks..i figured I could because it's not stretch. If ideas stretch after awhile it will lose shape from cutting it wrong 😊

sweettazcandyy then you would use that clients measurements. The mannequin is there to place your garment on and some cases help you but you always follow your measurements from your clients
