Built this twice. First time I built it, I had no issues. Second time, one of the pistons won't extend which results in only one block getting pulled. Not even sure why this is happening, but I checked to make sure everything else worked properly.

i did it twice and each time the button side works but not the other side it takes the item and puts it to the other side just doesnt open the door

Is the way the hopper line is connected exactly the same? I think it would behave that way if you didn't bend it sideways at the position of comparator. If it still doesn't work, please share some screenshots.

I followed each and every step, manage to build it but sad to say it doesn't work on Android bedrock, the problem is that when the items reach the first dropper for releasing the item it wont go up to the second dropped so I really wouldn't be able to get my item back also the double piston doesn't work either. I don't know why I think there's some difference between java and bedrock? Anyways thank you for the tutorial, I enjoyed watching and learning

i got something weird. At the end of the build i went out and closed it. but when i tried it the door stayed open, now the door stays open and when i drop an item in the minecart with hopper it closes and opens back up. same with the button , so it's working the other way around.

Yeah, you should place 2 inconspicuous blocks in a closed position at the end.

@@mazecraft9785 I solved the issue , i think it were two things . while building it something dropped in the system while it not being complete so I redid redstone things to be sure but not everything was ok then. Then I noticed I also placed an extra block under the 2 inconspicuous ones .So I removed that one and now everything is working. So the one under the 2 needs to be an empty space

hi so i followed the tutorial and the door doesn't open when I drop an item. I see it pop out on the other side tho so I at least know that part works and it also opens when I press the button from the inside

Well... is the way the Hoppers are connected exactly the same? It is also important that the Hopper is connected horizontally at the Comparator position The only other thing I can think of is that you're using the wrong Repeater and Comparator or something like that

My button side dosent work when i press button rail below glowed but nothing is happening with doors 1.18.1 version I checked all and all is the same

I haven't tried it in Java 1.18.1... but hmmm🤔 Is the orientation of the observer under the rail correct? And is the repeater under it on a 2 tick delay? If it still not working, can I check your screenshot around of the circuit on imgur or something.

Does that 2 tick delay repeater glow when you press the button? Now I tested it in java 1.18.1 and it works btw

If the rail is glowing and the repeater isn't, then I'd say there's a problem with 1 of the 3 things there: the observer, the solid block, or the repeater. Around 5:29~5:54 btw

I have been trying to figure out a way to incorporate this with an item filtration system to have a specific item be the key to opening it. Been trying a few variations and unsure how to implement it to success. Any thoughts?

Hmm, it will probably work in 1.16.5 I think you're missing something? Maybe you didn't place Powered Rail, or the Redstone Dust behind Observer or something like that?

Does it occur repeatedly? For example, if you don't place a torch attached to the end of the comparator on the dropper elevator, you might hear it all the time.
