Video of the 1997 Federation Cup Final between East Bengal and Salgaocar at the Saltlake Stadium. Nearly 1,20,000 East Bengal fans turned up for the match, a record non derby attendance. Salgaocar won the match in extra time.

1,20,000 only East Bengal supporters!Can you imagine?I was one of them on that day.Just one man Bruno Cutinhoe broke our heart by scoring two brilliant goals.I can still remember those pile drivers.Rare to see in Indian football.We were dejected but not unhappy.It was a memorable match.Sagaonkar has been our boggy team in every ocassion.It's a pity that the famous team is not exist any more.
