Found your channel recently and it is by far the most impressive collection of model airports in the world. The only possible rival is Knuffingen Airport in Germany simply because everything moves there. Your immense attention to detail can only be performed by a pilot! About to embark upon my first attempt in 1/500 using Herpa models and can only hope to achieve a fraction of the greatness displayed on this channel!

Looks great! Where did u get the apron foil and runway for 1:200 scale? Most of them are for 1:400 scales. What is the dimension of your airport. Do u have it on board of some kind?
@1200AirportMakers4 жыл бұрын
Ahsan Khan the apron foils are from mozartmodels.com. They are downloadable files you print at home. Dimensions are 8ft x 4ft. Ya I just used wood boards for this one. Nothing fancy.

@@1200AirportMakers Hi there. Did you print them in a glossy photo paper or matte? Also it is very difficult to find A4 size paper in the USA. Does the downloaded files print on standard US 8.5 x 11 size paper? Do you use any editing software to play around with the size/scale? Also I have mostly larger size 1:200 models (A380/B747/A340, etc). How will it fit in this apron foil? You know, come to think of it, you should probably to a video of how to make the foils and set up! That would be AWESOME! :) Thank you for your videos. Love them. Great work!

Your model airport is fantastic, and you have a great collection of airliners. Do you have many wide-bodies? I think something like a Delta A350/330 or an AA 787, or a UA 787 for example, would really compliment your airport. They would look great on a long haul international pier.
@1200AirportMakers4 жыл бұрын
Matthew Corcoran so I do have some various widebodies. Problem is I don’t have any gates for them on this setup yet. As you can see I’ve basically maxed out the tables with these 10 gates. But down the road I plan on adding them.
