Thank you for posting this. I was going through all my channel subscriptions when I saw this, watched the last three last night. I started thinking “haha I should do this (but I’m totally not going to)” when you talked about using 5 products instead of only going for the 1 favorite you were comfortable with. That is absolutely what I do. I was scared I wouldn’t want to get rid of anything but I got rid of A LOT. Lipsticks were actually the hardest for me. I feel like I had a very productive day. This week was a really nice series to have throughout the week😊 It even inspired me to look and compare my tallies on my lipstick sheets; I make a note of what lip product I wear each day and I now have the entire year of 2019 and half of this year to compare, found it hella interesting.

I love buying lip products but unfortunately the more I buy the more I realise that not all Formulas are created equal. I have heaps of liquid lipsticks that are crusty dusty butt holes. I should really throw them in the bin. I’ve now decided that moving into the future in just going to stick with what I know I like and will wear regularly. And I can’t believe you say you don’t like to exfoliate your lips. It’s such a nice treat IMO for the lips and I think it leaves my lips smoother and more plump for lipsticks. It also helps with preventing black heads on the lip line that kill to squeeze - argh!

Pacifica has a really nice overnight lip mask called lavendar moon or something that you might like. Bite Beauty's new lipsticks are also really nice. Great declutter series. So relaxing. I looked forward to it every night. Thank you 💕

I used to have a ridiculous lip collection. I have pretty full lips and I was doing a lot of swatch videos a couple years ago but then I had to put my stuff in storage for about a month during a big move and I realized that I basically just go for a nude every day. I didnt miss anything I had stored at all so I just put it all in a bag and left it at my Dad's with strict orders that my 2 sisters and 3 Sis in laws all go through and take whatever they wanted. I was not even 1% sad to see that they had only left me about 5 items out of the 100+...and they were all NUDE haha! Plus now if I ever had a serious need to have a pink or red, I can just buy 1 of them in a formula that will make it worth my money.

My covergirl lip oils started smelling funny pretty quickly, so I had to toss them. :( I loved the yensa pink shine lip oil layered under liquid lipsticks.
