the Backstreets look like as an ancient town of Havana . there are a lot of ancient buildings and streets without maintenance ;

I've always wanted to visit. Love the melodies and the songs. I've watched "Weekend In Havana' motion picture about twenty times.....that was made in 1941.Now I see what it looks like in 2019. Nothing going on. Mostly a dilapidated heap of ruin.Notice the rubbish and general malaise of the city.I think I'll just see the 'Weekend' film again and transport back to 1941.

Simpática la gente, pero lo que se ve de la Habana en este vídeo, es muy triste, muy viejo, pobre... Ojala Cuba salga de esta situación pronto, su pueblo se lo merece.

I'm glad you like my videos :) Merry Christmas to you and your family. I'll put another video of Cuba tonight. I'm doing something slightly different. I recorded some video at night. My camera doesn't do very good at night, but it is better than nothing.

I am Cuban American and have traveled to Havana since 1981. The ONLY thing that Fidel did well was carry out the willful neglect of Havana , the flight of the middle class, which was quite LARGE and turned a truly beautiful city into a surreal and nightmarish visual dystopia. I still cry inside. Was there in 1/2017.

Have to say, I was there once - in 2016. The place looks a lot worse in real life. The slums of Havana are heartbreaking. An engineer told me about the oil they burn, to keep the lights on and how much sulfur is in it and how it has to be burned at such a high temp - hoping that it'll burn off impurities. The sulfur causes acid rain and this further undermines the buildings. Some colonial era buildings look like they're melting. The other thing that amazed me is that it is an island that has to import most of its fish! Socialism is a cancer.

Hi there, good to see your well filmed insight into the fascinating Cuba. We film gopro walk through's of soulful cities (and have filmed the same streets), so it's great to see someone else's eye view. We really enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing it, we have subscribed and look forward to seeing more.

Hi there, we've been enjoying watching this. We film 4k walks in cities, and have just filmed some walks in Cuba, so it's especially interesting to see your viewpoint too, thank you for taking the time to add it. If you'd like to subscribe to each other, we'd be happy with that too? Look forward to seeing more from you.

Mandar os defensores do socialismo no Brasil para Cuba, mas não para viverem a boa vida de turista, mas viver como o sofrido povo cubano.

Don't understand why they criticise, the regime, the cubans fought for the revolution and this is the result, nobody else to blame.Sorry but it is the only truth..

No, Cubans fought for democracy, not to replace one tyrant for another, it was a betrayal
