@Diogenes Laertius Imperial mesure is the worst system mesure, you are running in 3/32 ich for example. Because an inch is to big ! Mm is the best .

amazing kit!!! very tedious, and have to have more attention to detail as they get this big, but my goodness the amount of stuff you could do with it!! and all the goodies you can add to it!! Great work as always Bob, love your videos.

I know you were just making a point about how easy it is to calculate ballast volume, but I like how you rib us for using a stone age measurement system, then immediately tell us it’s 9 feet long and has 11 inch tanks.

Sir some wholes are present on your submarine, so when vessel starts working in water will water go through this whole in submarine.

How did you get the hull shape accurate at that scale???... I have wanted to make a 1:35 scale stationary model for ages, but can't find any decent details.. If you could steer me in the right direction it would be appreciated...

This was a one-off kit that the original owner bought from a modeler in Germany back when he was in the military. He brought it back here to the US on a submarine (I have no idea how he managed that) but ended up selling me the boat after he acknowledged he didn't have the time or talent to finish it properly.

Very cool Sub, it Type XXI was the most advanced one, into WWII. Today, we do have only the U-2540 "Wilhelm Bauer", you can read out it all here: www.u-boot-wilhelm-bauer.de/en/

Apologies if you feel attacked. Obviously not my intent. I do stand by my feelings that imperial measurements are vastly inferior to metric, and that countries not adopting are doing their people a vast disservice. My opinion. Take it or leave it.
