Interesting. I've not hear anything positive aboutt Borders Tigers. How are the tracks?

Comparable to Takom or Italeri in the layout, though more fiddly with individual teeth for the single track links to be added, seems a bit odd to do it like that I think!

Has Border improved with their Initial Leningrad version or is it pretty much just the same problems? I've seen barely any reviews on the Leningrad version.

Unsure mate! I haven't built their Leningrad just yet, I hope they've had a revisit.

@@Beastsbuilds a shame. I've been trying to figure out what Initial Tiger to buy to paint up in Panzer grey... Rye Field Model's tracks are apparently very fiddly and I don't want to spend extra money on tracks. Border's Early gets negative reviews but I haven't heard much on the Initial. And Dragon's seems to be sold out everywhere... I might just buy Tamiya's Afrika version and strip it down to look like a Leningrad Tiger.

I can say that I'm a big fan of Rye field, but the tracks are definitely fiddly as their kits generally have working suspension and tracks, I recently did the snow Leningrad dragon kit and it wasn't bad but wasn't without issues. I'd say mucking with a Tamiya kit may work out fairly nicely mate, can't go wrong with Tam!
