1/4 Final - Juste Debout 2019 - Les Twins (Larry & Laurent) vs Diablo & Stalamuerte | REACTION!

Diablo was a part of Criminalz Crew with Les Twins, going way back even before 2010. He split from the crew but there's no official reason why. But in this battle there's some obvious trash talk and jabs between each other. At 2:30 is actually one of Diablo's signature moves, that Les Twins mocked him with. Also at 8:20 Diablo does the walking in place move, which Larry is commonly known to do. You might think that its Larry's move, but its actually Diablo's signature. When you are a part of a dance crew for so long, you become sort of a family and share each others styles, so it's no surprise Larry picked it up from him. All throughout Les Twins' rising career and popularity, Larry still continued to use this move, and most people assumed it was his signature. 8:20 was basically Diablo's way of saying "that move you always do is my shit, don't forget it." Also the move Laurent does at 2:10 with the tip of his toe, is one of Diablo's signatures as well. Between the move at 2:10 and 2:30, that whole first round was just to mock Diablo and get under his skin.

Please explain the move that Larry did that you say belonged to Diablo. Don't give the timestamp but can you please Describe the move to me? Can you describe Laurent's move as well...

@@tiffanyblack6911 To describe it simply, its basically walking in place without moving. But there's a certain technique and style to the way its done. If you've watched a lot of Les Twins, you would immediately be familiar with this exact move Larry does.

@@tiffanyblack6911 I didn't realize you asked about Laurent's move as well. In Larry's round, Laurent joins him and Laurent leans down and reaches a hand down towards one foot planted on the ground. It sounds very vague explained so simply like that. But it's all about the details and body positioning. The only difference between how Laurent did it and how Diablo does it, is that Diablo isn't on the tip of his toe when he does it. Instead, Diablo balances on the side of his foot and grabs his ankle. You could make the argument that Laurent wasn't doing Diablo's move because it wasn't EXACTLY the same, but I think he was copying him because that first round choreography was clearly aimed at mocking Diablo. Which leads me to the second move Laurent and Larry did together: Lifting their body off the ground and slowly moving to the side, with arms crossed. That was 1000% Diablo's move. Diablo, Stalamuerte, and their groupy friends behind them even reacted to that move.

Well, we know that France is not very kind or respectful of The Les Twins. And, many are very jealous of them. But, as Laurent said in the Larry vs. Joe Styles battle "It's okay we know the truth". It always amazes me how much LT loves France but France does not love them the same. This was 2019... so at this point they had been on tour with Beyonce for 5years, walked in NY fashion week, and Paris Fashion week, Did a video with Missy Elliott, did a video with Megan Trainor, did a video with Chris BrownandTyga, They were the villains in the Men in Black International movie that came out in June of 2019 They also starred in the movie Cats, and many mini short films with Yak Films... It has to be hard for dancers and judges to NOT be jealous of their Beautiful Azzes🤭 I'm just saying... sad to say but most people around them that are not family probably have a lil jealousy in their heart for these twins... BUT, WE LOVE THEM AND OUR LOVE IS GENUINE... It's what keeps them going I'm sure as well as their love for each other and Mama B and Family💕💜💖 SP GREAT CHOICE... GREAT REACTION 👍🏼👌🏼

Damn, if that's the case, I hope it won't stay that way. The twins has always been representing France and are so proud of it. Some people are even loving the country and the language because of them, including me. But, no worries still, the Twins have the rest of the world showing love to them and supporting their journey.❤ Ain't nobody can touch them, for real!

WOW Tiffany Black, thanks for the context. When you're Les Twins and already in another universe, all other folks can do is act as if they can compete by in some ways mimic. The problem is only Les Twins are original. Here and everywhere. You can only be a shadow of the sun, like the moon is. That's sad for the moon while the sun goes on to the next day in the sky

diablo was in crminalz crew when les twins just came up they were friends but they are no longer now and left the group, for this battle u can clearly see diablo didnt dance for 10 seconds and kept hyping his squad idc how u good u are but u gotta dance the entire minute to get ur win either way thats just so stupid that this happened in the biggest event in the world of dancing

@@m.t.shiphopblogandmore...007 Nah, I feel Diablo started out really strong and brought a lot of energy. It was solid until he decided to cut his round short (which is something he does often in battles) by almost 30 seconds. It's not the fact that he didn't do anything, its about how short his round was. If he kept going the whole way, then you could make the argument that Les Twins lost. But because of such a short round, I feel Diablo and Stalamuerte lost.

@@lilfuzzballa I'd like to respectfully disagree. The choreography from Diablo and what's his name in the 1st round was slopppy IMO. The lines weren't super clean and it was hard to interpret wth was going on. Sitting on the stage was just disrepectful. Yes, the man had energy.. bravo but he lacked several other components.

the craziest part was everyone was more hype for Diablo and his partner beating les twins then they were for the final when they beat waydi and Rochka, which just shows they were only hype bc they beat les twins and not them actually winning.

The move that you said was a good save by diablo is actually is how the signature move is done😄 but anyways I will always say I needed a 3rd round but it appears to me the judges got caught up in the energy which we all know can have a major influence when you are watching in person.

I finally decided to watch this battle for the first time and I wish I didn't. It pretty much went as I expected. I actually like Diablo. He's an amazing dancer but he was acting like he had something to prove instead of acting like he came to dance his ass off and win. IDK but this just didn't sit well with me. All the chaos on the stage, the lack of dancing by Diablo and the hyped crowd had me confuse...its just odd.

Ugh this battle pissed me off. How do you go against Les Twins with some old, 'You got served moves' AND sit on the stage while your turn is still going AND win? how sway? I might be a LT fan, but that was a hot mess. I'm just glad it didn't escalate and the dancers showed each other love. But maynnee listen, that judging was wack.

Me a year later SP cause this is new to me. I disagree with that win!! That Twin roll killed it. Yeah the other tem had good choreography I'll give them that. But when Laurent came out and killed it the guy on the other side kept coming after Laurent like he was going to hit him. We all know Larry ain't having that. That's why Larry went after Buddy every time he went for Laurent. Buddy had to have had some sort of animosity towards Laurent or both the Twins?? By that team losing control Les Twins should if won because they were the better dancers. Just my opinion.

True. It actually took me a while to watch it again I detest it do much. And now I just can't handle Diablo. The Red Bull Dance your style final is all the way down here in South Africa. I saw they use him as example of the standard of the competition. I hope he don't come to the final over here. I might give him a big but of my mind in my native language for his ratchetness.
