[1/4] The Syndicate in Queenstown: rule bending, Lahar-gate, and very sketchy racing | ROAD RULES E1

Hey up sports fans, and welcome to Road Rules.
The Santa Cruz Syndicate crew take a break from chasing their endless summer in the Southern Hemisphere to split up into two teams and battle it out on a series of head-to-head, and elbow-to-elbow challenges, with team bragging rights and an all-expenses paid trip to Japan on the line… which may or may not be a work trip for all of them, but they didn’t know that at the time.
Time to hit the road in Queenstown, NZ. First stop is with our friend Paul Angus at Vertigo Bikes to ride the legendary Lahar bike in the Retro DH challenge. Then, the Syndicate competes their way through the super-sketchy Skyline Relay.

S & M bikes has been doing Factory Friday's for years now, then Santa Cruz starts doing it. Road Fools was a awesome video series, now Santa Cruz does Road Rules. At least they changed the name.... LOL! By the way I love my Santa Cruz Chameleon...just an observation.

Road rules has always been a nod towards Thrasher: King of the Road. There's been a lot of adaptations for various sports. Everyone is inspired by various sources and nothing is 100% original, especially in this day in age. We're absolutely loving the series and the general fun, light hearted vibe that the Syndicate bring to racing!
