After driving around a bit I love this even more, you can hear the turbo spooling up so much more and there is a lovely deep intake sound under hard acceleration!
I most certainly recommend this kit if you're after a sportier sounding engine note - performance doesn't feel any different but I'm sure it will help squeeze a big more power out when I get it remapped.
Next on my list is straight through exhaust, as the stock design is restrictive. Then remap to ~200Bhp (hopefully) - a poor mans VRS! :D

i had an unbraned blow off valve at my seat leon 1m 1.8 20vt and worked fine from 2001-2007.After i bought a leon cupra 1p 2.0 tfsi from 2007and put a forge blow off valve the sound was very bad and fake so i decided to take it off and sell it.Now i have a t-roc 1.5 dsg sport pack,and i am thinking for a rtmg blow off valve because its cheaper 280€ vs forge 380€ and with better noise as i heard from videos on internet,and a intake system but inside the oem box because the hot air from the engine it will get inside from the intake!!!!Also a tuning box from ABT that it will give 40hp more.

Yeaah stock exhaust, inside you can hear the low end spool really well in a high gear but the release "pshhh" is still noticeable even with windows up. I'll try and get a sound recording of inside the car soon!

Does this cone material filter out fine sand? I live in a desert and sometimes there are dust storms not to mention dusty construction sites. Do you have to oil this one? Ive got a forge intake and im worried its not filtering out dusty sand particles

No really performance benefit other than allowing the turbo to spool better slightly after quick gear changes, and yes can deffo hear it outside, pretty loud considering the small turbo!

Getting the oem turbo elbow off the turbo with 5 hoses in the way is the most frustrating thing I have EVER ran into while working on a car. What an actual shitshow. Putting it back to stock and selling the car. New cars are way too complicated to maintain. I’ll take a 5 cylinder any day of the week anyway

Is it safe to install the intake part without the blow off valve, in other words if all else is stock?

Yes, the OEM part doesn't have a BOV, if you are increasing boost pressure via a remap I would recommend a BOV, turbo surging has been proven to decrease the life span of the turbo. Stock pressures are pretty low so shouldn't have much of a detremental effect :)

How did you get the forge pipe to fit ( like expand it) to fit on the pipe

Sorry I don't follow, the Forge pipe (red left side) that comes with the BOV kit comes with two adapter rings which alter the size of the stock connections, one for the turbo inlet and the other off the intercooler. I have another video specifically on that, which might help? :)

You could find some sounds online, and either burn to CD or copy to USB and play the sounds really loud through your speakers! :)

How did you get the original airbox out with the bungs. I seem to be pulling and pulling and just doesn’t budge

I just pulled the entire air box off directly upwards, if you struggle get some silicone spray on where the bungs are and it should help it slip off

You don't remove them, for me I got new rubber bungs with the kit and I just fitted them and push them into place :)

What exactly is a DADA? Im intake shopping and the website says thisnis for DADA and i cant figure out if my 2022 ibiza Fr 1.5 (1.5 tsi) falls into this category

@@SparkySubie Kinda late but, DADA and DACA are 1.5 TSI from VAG (Seat, Skoda, VW, Audi,...) one is 150 hp and the other is 130 hp
