Love how the citrus tree put ALL of its work into root system and nothing above ground for so long. Foundation, peoples. It’s all in the groundwork. ❤

I don't know why you think these didn't deserve their own videos. Sure, they were short and not always successful, but that is just how it sometimes is. They were still very cool, especially the poppy one, which I'd say actually ended in success.

Those little "pepper pot" seed pods for poppies were pretty good! I didn't know luffa grows like hops, so I may have to try some next year! 😎✌️

looks like the luffa was afflicted with fungus. downy mildew probably. the luffa requires air movement to keep the leaves dry and prevent the mould from growing?
@BoxlapseАй бұрын
Could be. I also underestimated how big it was going to get, i had to trim it down constantly when it reached the ceiling so it probably didn't like that either.
@laurenfraser2483Ай бұрын
I would say it ran out of nutrients in the small amount of soil it had too
@PurpleFiiilth15 күн бұрын
Perhaps it grew too close to the light and burned its leaves and stems? In the wild the plant will never reach the sun so it can just keep reaching and reaching for more light without worrying, with grow lights you have to be careful they aren't too close. I also see it ran out of room to grow up so it started draping down, dunno if that would make a difference but if the light is burning the stem it would kill all the growth below it as well. Anyways, fascinating videos as always.

I like seeing the "failures", it's like that story about the kid that was tasked with growing a seed and he's sad because everyone else with the same task has a great plant, but his won't sprout. Eventually when the plants are checked it's revealed the seeds were all rocks and he's the only honest one who didn't try to cover up his presumed failure. I forget what it's called but I think it's Chinese in origin. I learned of it in animated form on a cartoon titled 'Adventures From the Book of Virtues', probably an honesty or integrity based episode

@the_letter_j92239 күн бұрын
I remember that story from Reading Between the Lions. The only difference was that the twist at the end was that the seeds that were given were cooked, not rocks. It's a pretty great story either way.

I’m always happy to see videos of plants growing. I see my Plumeria bought at a drugstore after Mother’s Day on clearance. It’s had its ups and downs but after 25 years and many cross country moves. It’s bloomed 5 times and was amazing. It’s had a rocky time the last two years. Aphids and I’ve tried so many remedies but maybe after 25 years it’s tired. As am I. It’s seen the death of my soulmate 14 years ago. It’s grown from a foot to 6 feet. Maybe it’s time to let it go…

Frankly I feel like the title is misleading. I assume if you added up the 4 individual projects it totals 1.5 Years (see below) but I thought we'd watch like one tree-like plant go for 18 months. 0:00 Poppy (85 Days) 1:13 Orange (143 Days) 2:02 Luffa (234 Days) 3:11 Oyster Mushroom (23 Days) 4:19 End.
