The Firestick instructions say the SWR needs to be taken with the cap on. Did you find any change between with and without the rubber cap? Also was this with your “stock” McKinley and did you compare the built-in SWR meter on the McKinley versus your external meter?

I rarely read instructions :) but I took measurements without cap. Checked again with cap and saw little change. All measurements were with AD203 inline. Stock SWR built in test was a tad higher than the NanoVNA. Who knows which was more accurate. But they tracked together for the most part. I e been meaning to re-test now that I have better test equipment in the lab because I’m not happy with my results trying to make contacts while mobile. (Future video?). Hey Chris! Yeah I used a specific tool that goes on your drill and strips back a perfect circle of paint around the mounting holes. But I may go back and double check/improve the ground to see if I can get a lower swr.

So if i talk on say channel 30 on a cb more than any other channel. Would i set the swr for thr channel or... set it to run a test in a certain frequency. Thanks in advancd

@@JuliansRandomProject ohhhhh very risky business when its going to crash into a very big hole.... i wud wait till brandon has been ousted and trump reinserted... or pull out b4 the big one hits and we r back into the 1800's.... For me too many health issues and i crashed and burned years ago.... so no tolerance left for the zombie population that surrounds me by atleast 90%. I wonder what happened to people that had common sense, all i see is brainwashed halfwits....lol
