Yeah it would be a good idea to finish before winter is over 😅🤣😂

Snow cat is gonna be awesome. Next, you need to make a snow blower for it !
@RCWalletVacuum9 күн бұрын
The snow blower would be a cool addition Addict. I better get busy though because at least another foot of lake effect is showing up this week. Thanks for checking it out buddy

Right on 👍🏼 brother! Sweet project, i agree electric would be best in the snow ❄️ 🤙🏼

Thanks for checking it out Ben, but i must admit i will miss that 2 stroke noise, or should i say melody.

Cool build! That will go thru alot and a blade would be cool to see on it someday!
@RCWalletVacuum9 күн бұрын
Thanks Joe. I probably will try the hydraulic unit but i'm not sure how well it will pump fluid in the cold weather, i think they use some sort of vegetable oil. Thanks for checking it out
@JoeGerdingRc9 күн бұрын
@@RCWalletVacuum yes I have heard that also. But I think vegetable oil expands as hydraulic fluid does also...what do ya think about brake or trans fluid? Brake fluid expands minimal with heat...I may be wrong but my understanding is it's a hydraulic fluid too because most brakes are a hydraulic. Alot of transmission's are also so I wonder if them may work also? Just other thoughts as I was watching. Looking to do another 450 build myself and your track vids were something I'm interested in also for other builds I fall asleep thinking about lol! Looking forward to the next one!!!💯🔥💥🚀
@RCWalletVacuum9 күн бұрын
@@JoeGerdingRc Hi Joe, i will be getting the hydraulic system eventually and testing different fluids is going to be mandatory. At least with the brake fluid you wouldn't have to worry about it starting on fire,lol. Thanks for checking in Joe, i appreciate it and good luck with next 450 build

Brian, far from boring not at all. I’ve been wondering if I could put tracks on my X max I guess if there’s a will there’s a way.
@RCWalletVacuum9 күн бұрын
Thanks brother. These tracks might be a bit big for the xmax, but only one way to find out,lol.

This build is going to come out great. I think another advantage of having an electric over gas is the noise. You could mount a camera on this SnoCat and film wildlife without scaring them off or carry out stealth surveillance. The one thing I must say is that you are very talented. Are you going to be fabricating the body out of metal?
@RCWalletVacuum9 күн бұрын
Thanks RC. yes indeed, it will have body panels of what i believe is around .032" aluminum sheet metal and of course it will be orange. Thanks for checking it out RC
@RCRoads9 күн бұрын
@@RCWalletVacuum I cant wait to see it. Don't rush this beauty. I think orange panels will look real nice. Enjoy the build and have a great holiday. I'll be checking in ... ✌

looks freaking awesome! More than enough power with that setup. Any way to add extra height, portals to it ? Should have enough weight to plow through 1ft of powder. With the heavy wet stuff idk but I’m excited to see it in action! Very cool 😎

Hey Alterd, it now has a bunch more of the upper frame added including both cab sections. I do hope to have the next video ready for next week with the additional parts added. We got over 2 feet of snow today but sadly i'm not yet ready. Thanks for checking it out buddy

Hey Kong, its using the Hobbywing EZRun MAX 5 640 kv, at least initially. There is going to be several follow up build videos. I need to hurry up so its done before winter is over. Thanks for checking it out Kong
@kgm55129 күн бұрын
Brian have you tried running the rear tracks pointed towards the rear? Just a thought. I love this concept and idea. That max 5 650kv is stout I have that in my kraton! If that’s the g2 it’s 12s capable!

Hey Kyle, that is how i originally tried to install them because that is how tracks mount on the Polaris Ranger, but i could not get their anti-rotation setup to line up so i spun them like shown. The directions from Rovan were pretty much non existent. Thanks for checking it out Kyle

@ I would 💯 believe rovans directions were absent lol
