Wooowww, this is a really fascinating find! Absolutely epic to see 1.6m/s without inner doors and that on a Mod! Really like this and it's especially cool to see that the BP408 was chosen, which is the superior controller option. No shitty BX.

Yes, I was very pleased to have had the chance to see these elevators because they are for me the real meaning of a really very very successful modernization and I would love to see this more often too and to think that originally it operated at 1.75 m/s also without a door in the cabin is just crazy.

Wow amazing find😮. I also know of a Freissler-Otis elevator in Austria that was modernized in 2016 and didn't have a inner door or even a light barrier. I would be interested to see how this elevator behaves after the light barrier is interrupted.

This is a discovery that I did not expect either, I am very happy to have been able to film these modernized elevators like those presented in video after 2010 because it has become a real rarity this kind of mod. I hesitated to make an emergency stop with the light barrier but in the new elevators it can happen that it goes into defaul mode just after stopping and does not restart without the intervention of a technician so I did not do it.

Yes and especially that they go at a speed of 1.6 m/s so not standard and something more special originally these elevators worked at a speed of 1.75 m/s even faster than currently.

Very nice and fast elevators without innerdoors, that's very rare! Is the entrace door open? I will also filming this one In Chur, in the Aspermont high-rise, there are also two almost original Schlieren elevators that have no interior doors and serve a total of 23 floors (the highest floor is the 20th). These elevators were gently modernized by Schindler at the end of the 1990s and received a new control system (originally they had Schlieren relays, now maybe TX-GC? No idea). But the shaft doors and the cabin fittings are still original. (The elevators were probably built in 1970). The speed is not that fast, however, more like 1.0 m/s. Yes I am very pleasantly surprised to have been able to find such elevators. I who believed that since 2020 the doors in the cabin were systematically mandatory during modernization, well I see that no but what surprises me the most is their speed of movement it is just crazy for devices without doors in the cabin. The two Schlieren that you are talking about I know them I have also visited them they are well modernized but much too slow for 23 floors served it is just a shame but they work well too. I don't think that works on the Mic TX-GC because they are very slow but probably on MIC LX-GC or maybe MIC BX but not sure. For those from Bienne I found on technical files in machinery that originally they went at 1.75 m/s so even faster than currently and something very improbable they had the dynatron 2 motor like the aconic but surely here originally they worked on relay and not on the aconic.
