I have never even thought about RC models but I've been randomly going through youtube channels and came across these videos. I can see how this would appeal. The attention to detail , the effects and making something that looks good and works. I might need to start a LOT smaller but looks like a new hobby might be heading my way. Have fun all

Well done, you! I have been fascinated with tanks since I was a kid. I am now 73. I have built many model tanks. Built dioramas. But never got into RC models. These are impressive. One comment... I would have “distressed” them. Mud, dust, rust, etc. they look too new. Overall... kudos. Loved watching. Thanks!

No problem ask anything..!..The Tanks are not all mine,we are only a small group so are lucky enough to have few between us...the Tanks in this video where all Scratch built by 2 people,(the M48 by 1 and the chafee another)..I painted them and do the video/pictures.....Thanks for looking

The tracks where scratch built bu the tank builder Mr Ian Gallacher from Skelmersdale Lancashire..he made his own pattern based on the original shape,they are vacume braised in a furness,so are pretty mutch unbreakable....
@1975acidburn11 жыл бұрын
I want an RC tank . These look really nice and seem to run great
the lad who made the tracks makes them from scratch,chops all the small pieces as required and puts and puts them all into a vacum furness to join them.alot of work involved,but the track are superb and will not break...thanks

Currently building an Armortek Panzerjäger “Elefant” Can’t wait to get it up and running. Extremely slow progress with the build, but it will be worth it. Your tanks look superb! Nice details and paint! 👌🏻👌🏻

Good tanks, diorama and film. I like them all. One thing to correct---General Chaffee is M24. M26 is General Pershing.

One of the best videos I've seen with the land scape and buildings. I didn't know these tanks were waterproof.
@melissafreed59032 жыл бұрын
Most of the time they aren’t as far as I know, you have to water proof them yourself

After watching your tanks , Id love to know what materials you use to build these, what motors/esc you use. What the tracks are made of. What type of suspension system you use. Absolutely full marks on your workmanship.

I just seen this video so IDK if you guys have done this at night but that would be cool. Do the tanks have lights on them? Also even if they have lights on them, put some around the woods to give some low light, lume cubes would work good!

This is sooo cool, are those tracks metal or rubber synthetic? I wouldnt mind making one if I knew where to get one and make it shoot .17 HMR or .22 rimfire for my handicapped buddy so he can do some squirrel hunting. That would be so sweet.

I got to tell ya....my sphincter's just a tinglin-! ULTRA-NICE-WORK Dude-!!! I never much cared for the M-48 kind of like the 47 myself until now. May I please ask how the upper & lower hulls were fabricated, aluminum or resin castings-? Absolutely Beautiful work,detail(s) etc. and the field was very cool, we just need one of those "roll-out" garden screen things for the bus/auto traffic in the background. Cool Tanks dude-!!!

Amazing Feat of Excellence!!! Was lead tank M47? The crew looked like Vietnam troops. Scratch building Artist is what you are! Beautiful layout as well. Have you any amphib heavy hauler 8x8s? Tho not an RC buff have built 1/35th Tamiya mostly mainly WWII+Bradley M1 Abrams. Would love to see early model riveted Stuart Light Tank. Stuart is most favorite WWII tank. Universal Carriers, 6x6, Halftracks. Ever thought of building Sherman with Dragon breath? LOL Good Show old chap!
@Boimans10 жыл бұрын
The lead tank is a M24 Chaffee en the other 2 are M48 patton
@howardfortyfive967610 жыл бұрын
When I was growing up I built models *mostly of WWII armor.* I still *have a Stuart Light Tank in **1:35**th scale I built in 1979. Like me it is beginning to show it's age.* Tamiya I think it is. Excellent models with wonderful detail *made in Japan.* Too bad Americans prefer cheap over well made. China builds crap and WM sells crap.* Very good reason right there to stay out of WM.
