+Ghost Pepper Design is this Mr. Todd Fleury? Just curious, as I remember you/him discussing their turbine hydro on OSE, and I figured that this must indeed be the boat and thus the owner. I didnt realize the SPM5 can be tuned like that, it always seemed like from the overseas vids ive watched that they all seem to list their top speeds at around 80mph. Thats amazing! Also, I was curious what this hull is made of or manufactured by? I know you are fond of ML and have had some work done with Mike, but with this boat I was moreso curious in that I noticed the cockpit is permanently attached to the hull unlike all the wooden builds ive seen, and I had been wondering where you got your cowling too. Lastly, do you think you could recommend an electric motor that would be suitable for a 1/6 scale like this? I have a 1/6 scale hull being produced for me overseas currently and im planning to run a TP Power 5850/5670 to start out with, and I would like to stray from the expensive Lehner motors if possible.

Where can I buy the hull kit or plans to build it? Does it cost $12-15k to build yourself or is that to buy from someone
@GhostPepperDesigns7 жыл бұрын
Brandon Hanover the hull is custom built out of Germany. There really is no kit to build one. It will cost you 15k just to build one.

Great boat, maybe propeller too close to transom, if boat wants to overturn, and skid fin a tidbit too deep in the water two mods that doesn’t take much work and worth the try otherwise 👍
@GhostPepperDesigns2 жыл бұрын
Appreciate the feedback. But the strut and turn fin are exactly where they need to be in order to have this boat run at these speeds.
@GhostPepperDesigns9 жыл бұрын
Heraldo, you can't purchase this hull. It was a custom hull. Look at what www.mlboatworksrc.com has to offer for a 1/6th scale.

Why do RC hydroplanes always run clockwise, when the real ones always run counter clockwise??
@highatruthart3 жыл бұрын
Turn fin is usually on the starboard side, & clockwise is just the direction they race.
@PAKiller13 жыл бұрын
@@highatruthart thank you, always wanted to know that
@chuckels4313 жыл бұрын
It more has to do with the prop rotation , don’t know about full scale but rc models all have engines / props that rotate left hand looking at the rear., most don’t like to make left turns they have a bad hopping tendency.
@hotdog82145 жыл бұрын
What are you scared about😂.. it's in the water..scared is when you maiden a 15k model jet .. Talk about pucker factor
