1,600 FPM Schindler Skydeck Elevators - Willis Tower in Chicago, IL

PLEASE NOTE: I understand that many of you guys still refer to the Willis Tower as the Sears Tower (which is the previous name), but for me personally, I like to use the newest name for all the buildings and hotels I go into. With that being said, I will not tolerate any comments that demand me to refer to the buildings by its previous name, especially the Willis Tower.
Now we have the elevators serving the Willis Tower Skydeck on the 103rd floor, which run at 1,600 FPM, which will soon be modded by Otis. This video will also consists of some astonishing views of downtown Chicago as viewed from the skydeck. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to step on the ledge since there were a lot of people and I didn't want to spend too much time up there.
MY THOUGHTS:
I totally love these elevators! They're super fast and they're pretty smooth for 103 floors. I remembered going up these when it was still called the Sears Tower, but I'd wish that they kept the original animation that was played while the elevator's moving.

@@ThePrasad_Diamond well, now that I know this…I’ll be stopping by when I’m in Chicago in the spring to live it in person. I think it’s crazy they moved away from the E-Z feature and counted floor by floor, though.

These elevators are very cool! I’ve been here once back when I was a kid. I actually went out on the glass with my step dad. I still have that photo from that day. Sucks that these are getting modded, but I hope it’s a good mod.

I wonder if the floor number on the screen is actually synchronized with the elevator position or if it’s a video with timing based on how long it takes for the elevator to travel
