I firmly believe that's the single best 1/64-scale diorama I've ever seen in my life. We all know a diorama rocks when It has the power to transport the observer to a different reality. Wish I had the time, money, talent, energy, and real estate required to afford building one like that. That'd be my personal haven.

@@acmesdiorama9301 Eight years? WOW. It must have required a lot of effort and persistence. Congrats on the accomplishment! I hold a bachelor's degree in Architecture, and one of the things that pushed me into that career path was a sales scale model of the apartment building where I grew up. I was seven then, and I remember I made my mom promise me they would give me that specific diorama once she bought a condo there. Years later, I had to work on some scale models while in college, and then I finally came to the tragic realization that I suck at making them. Everything I cut would end up crooked and off-center. Haha. What a terrible time. And I haven't improved at all after so many years. So, if I were rich, I would instead hire a talented guy like you to make my diorama dreams come true. lol

Thank you. I show how I do the lighting in my videos. I run the 3v streetlights off a 4.5v power supply using a resistor. I’m no electrician but it works for me.

If I had the time would love to build something like yours. I'm stuck using HO scale pre builts on the diecast race track I'm building because the S scale variety is lacking.

Learn to scratch build and you can make anything you want. Grant line makes doors and windows. They are easy to make too. Just remember to size them correctly.
