I could definitely believe that druids back in the day were the most played class due to multiboxing not being a bannable offense for the longest time. And multiboxing not being a bannable offense back then was 100% due to Blizzard seeing it as more subscriptions having to be paid for. People think WoW tokens were the start of P2W? No, it was multiboxing. You could do it in battlegrounds and take up 5 spots as a single player, running around ganking people. Solo dungeons and get all the loot for yourself, which became even more profitable when they implemented personal loot which included resource nodes. All for the low price of $15x5 (or however many accounts you want, but 5 is max for a full party) a month on top of however much it cost to upgrade to the current expansion x5. Since it became a thing, Blizzard's stance on it has always been that its not exploiting the game in any way, even though it requires 3rd party programs to do. Simply because its technically not automating gameplay its somehow legit. Until just last year they made it a bannable offense due to disallowing programs from hotkeying actions to multiple windows at once, which is what makes multiboxing possible. Oddly enough there is even a, what I would describe as cult like, community behind multiboxing that swears there is absolutely nothing wrong with how they're playing the game. They see everyone who has a problem with it as just haters who are missing out on the fun... of paying for multiple accounts so you don't have to interact with the social aspect in an mmo. Okay, rant over. Sorry multiboxing is my trigger word.

Currently watching the vods in always on top popout player while leveling alts and their professions. In them, they are currently in wpl doing the fields. The one thing that bothered me the most was Soda completely ignoring the existence of the Servomechanic Sledgehammer that is a guaranteed quest reward from the pirate cove in Arathi. The early expertise rating 17 weapon is so good I go out of my way to grab it on all my feral druids as early as possible.
