I think the fastest to lvl 70 with cache on any class is: 1) Do Challenge Rift 2) Start with Necro & Reroll on new class later ---> No class can reach lvl 18 as fast as a necro with Corpse Explo 3) Open Cache 4) Upgrade Altar once 5) Level to 18 to have gems drop 6) Look for Zoltun Bounty on any difficulty and find 2x normal Diamonds 7) Craft 1 Flawless Diamond & upgrade Altar 8) Start new Character on Class you want to play 9) Gamble + Upgrade Weapon on new Character (Maybe upgrade for Cowlevel Weapon then do it on T6) 10) Craft lvl 70 Items at lvl1 & kill mobs to reach necro level within a few seconds Should be around ~30 minutes to lvl70 solo, more likely less If you play in a group without Necro to carry you all: Have one player sacrifice their Challenge Rift Bag to carry everyone to 70 quickly. Preferably one of the zDmg Classes.

Addaption For hardcore players that will lose some time but lets you easily survive untill you have your lv 70 gear: -Go back at lv 11-15 when u lose the massascre bonus and buy new gear -buy new gear at lv 19 -select the stun from bonespikes + any other rune for the other skills before fighting zk

I'm a newb, but how do you start with so much gold? I'm guessing this isn't your first S28 character then, right? I'm level 35 and I can't clear Torment IV the way you do at 22, so I'm guessing the diference are the items, since I don't have starting gold or components like Arcane Focus and stuff like that. Watching you level so much in so little time is a joy, though, congratz!

Important is to have team to start with and strategy how you start so you dont slack. For solo players, sure use cache and play the old school way

@@padlasvillage We've done some testing and seen what may or may not help when choosing to save the cache. I don't want to be the 1st in the rank, but every time I use the cache. Let's do it differently to see what happens. Since I'm going with the necro, it will be a little more time consuming but calm leveling. People forget that Raxx's absurd time is also due to the massacre bonus, and whoever saves the cache will also have this bonus.

If you opt for the no lvl reqs path, then you don't even need to do that. you could craft a 70 everything almost right away in the blacksmith and then use the cube to try for legendaries the first day. The blacksmith isn't THAT expensive. And since we'll be flying through levels, the gold should come fast even without the cache. I'm not as good at holding massacre bonuses as RAx here, but it sure seems like I could tear through stuff pretty quick with 70 gear. Necro is silly fast though. even for chumps like me. ;)

I think I’m gonna gamble my 25 Dbs on 2h mace on my wiz and hope for an ancient. Even if it’s not ancient still should be stronger than a 70 yellow 2h mace and then gamble shards first for leorics crown then if any left leorics ring. Convert one yellow item into 100 yellow mats so I can craft all 8 pieces of lvl70 armor and just buy rings and Ammy at the vendor. Needs lots of luck 😂

Hey Raxx, quick question. The Kadala perk that makes it more likely to open legendary gear, is that noticeable? And if you open a primal from Kadala do you get a 2nd one from that new bonus?

It'll come down to how much you're going to play the game in the first three days and whether you care about leaderboards. That's all it takes before the second challenge rift becomes available. Your altar progress is stalled for a max of 3 days, and you can still work on all the material requirements for the higher tiers while you wait (if you're waiting at all in the first place). If you're going to play all day for 3 days straight to start the season and want to push the leaderboard, save the cache for the altar. If you're playing more casually (which is 99% of people), using the cache makes much more sense. Makes leveling a breeze (and fun!), and you're not even missing any truly significant altar powers, those are all available with the first 15 points.

The double Primal is from world drops only, not gambling and upgrades etc. Double the chance of legendaries from Kadala just means you get them twice as often, so it will be noticeable.

Honestly cool, however this wouldn't work like that. Even taking into account the challenge bounty, You aren't going to finish in anything less than 30 minutes < Still insane though. Also, a less gamble way would've been to go to Ruins and into Elder...Though you know this; you went for the gamble and that was obviously more fun to watch. I'm curious if leveling becomes a speedrun for the next few months, and maybe into the future too. It seems like it should. A fresh character 1 - 70, even categories with and without the challenge bounty.

If your talking about Haedrig's gift. It will drop gear for what ever class opens it. So starting on a necro and open the gifts on a say crusader you will get crusader gear. Hope that helps

The Altar of Rites requires a challenge rift cache at step 15. If you use your cache on Friday you will have to wait until completing the next challenge rift on Monday (for NA players) to proceed deeper into the 26 steps of the Altar.

I tried Necro on Standard just to see how it does and all is well until you need to do Chapter 4 on season journey, with no bonuses to damage on 4pc Haedrig's gift set it's extra hard to do GR20 solo, i had all lv70 gear + 4pc Masquerade set and wasn't even near to finish it on time. Without a CR cache its not that simple. First you need to get a diamond to unlock the C node. You might get lucky and find a gem goblin early but probably won't. So you'll be waiting until level 18 to kill a bounty boss (ZK) to get gems from the chest. Then you need a lot of gold and one DB to fully unlock the weapons guy. You can get a DB by doing Act two bounties on T1 difficulty but even if you skip that part you'll need a good amount of gold to get access to level 60 weapons and gear. And you also won't have any legendary gear from the CR mats.

@@Kobe005 not really, Kobe Tryharders/leaderboard rushers want to save their CR cache for the 15th node from the altar, therefore, they looked for ways to not use it, since the time they'll lose doing that will be negligible compared of how much they'll be able to progress later

It's because of the season theme, the altar of rites. Check in another video he talks about it. In shirts, the 2nd node when unlocked remove the level requirements on ALL items

I've usually done Rifts, just so they won't be boring. It's said that this is a bit slower, but with better loot and it's less same-y. However, with power#1 of the seasonal power, which every character can start with by disenchanting the follower weapons, all characters have double kill streak duration and XP bonus from kill streaks, seems like it'll really be the only way this season. I always sucked at kill streaks, found it almost impossible to build up big ones. The one character I tested on the PTR went like a breeze.
