I flew on that jet for 4 years. Love to see you build it.

Thank you for watching and thank you for commenting. I have built this kid before at I absolutely love these AMT kc-135 and their variance. I hope to have it completely built by April and a show on the build as well as the history of these aircraft.

Well thank you for watching and thank you for commenting. My advice to you on landing gear is first make sure to be very patient. The number to make sure to use the right glue. I did a video in my how-to section on something called sprue goo. It is essentially Tamiya ultra thin cement with some pieces of sprue mixed in and melted into kind of a thick gooey substance. It's good for small gaps but also works well with gluing tires and wheels to landing gear struts. Or pretty much any part of a landing gear. It takes a little bit of time to dry and set but once it's dry you not only have a good welded bond from the Tamiya glue but, you also have styrene that once it is dry and has off gassed will make a pretty much solid piece of styrene. Some people including myself at times will make a jig out of styrene stock so that it can help to hold the components into position while they dry. Thank you for giving me a good idea for a how-to video on doing Landing gear. I will probably put that out sometime this next month
