The problem is that it will become a holiday home and not a home for anyone that lives in it every day and that is the problem with these developers they build them for the rich who can afford the Million-pound property price that local people in Cornwall can not afford or get a mortgage on

I watch a lot of luxury properties in UK. Why so sterile with neon tread lights in the ceiling? Modern, yes, but loses the charm of what one expects in Cornwall. Just my two cents.

I’ve lived in st ives my entire life so pretty much 40 years and it’s definitely changed in that time, but I’ve got to admit this is a very nice house over looking arguably the most popular beach in st ives

Lovely home but £1.75mil for interrupted sea views from the master bedroom? The fixtures and fittings look a bit ‘new build’ too- that lamp flex cord near the beginning looked naff and ill thought out. Those strip lights in the ceilings too- more Marbella than St Ives 🙃
