i just bought the R over the R6, yes no IBIS, no Joystick, no 4k 60p or 1080 120fps ? but do I really needed all of that, I have access to the EF, RF glasses with the R and it's still a very good camera and in the end, everyone is going to watch my content on a phone at 240p or copressed on instagram

Awesome! Sounds like you really thought this one out in real world terms, I dig it!

I haven't picked up my R since I bought my R5... IBIS, DPAF 2.0 and 12fps mechanical on the R5 make it worth the extra money. The eye AF (in particular Animal AF) is just witchcraft... you really need to use it to appreciate just how amazing it is. The handling of the R5 also feels just that little bit better (both my camera bodies have grips) and the 45mp images from the R5 are just sublime when you crop in (I always shoot in CRAW). Being able to use a CF Express card really speeds up both operation and file transfer (using a card reader) and I have absolutely no regrets upgrading from my R.

@markrigg66234 жыл бұрын
Theres a lot to lenses but the the improvements in sensor tech are giving me more image quality improvements than the different lens systems. Its only when you use this new generation sensor that you can fully appreciate how mediocre Canons older sensor tech was.

This is exactly the video I've been waiting for and you did a great job answering all the key questions! I think I'm going to invest in a gimbal, a drone and maybe another R for multicam before I get an R5. I'll get much more mileage out of those things for my work than from fullframe 4K and AF 2.0. The photo and video comparisons you showed really clarified the return on investment aspect for me. It's just not a big enough difference for what I'm doing to make it worth it. Thanks a lot!
