Really interesting approach of Nurykau with bringing techniques from boxing into wrestling.

A lot of pummeling and hand fighting, nearly all defensive. Seems like Nurykau didn't want to wrestle Dake as much as he wanted to smack him in the face.

The "book" on Dake is that you try to distract him with dirty tactics such as hands to the face. I think the international wrestlers are copying things JB has done, especially in the US Open match with Dake where he had a hand in Dake's face all match. Dake understands this but it is hard to not react to it when it could easily result in a finger in the eye and a career threatening or disrupting injury.

Nurykau is a punk. And he’s really not that good either. Dude did nothing but hit dirty aggressive moves. Dudes trash. We’ll just add another one to Dakes long list of accomplishments. OG this year 💪#USA
