This was one of my favorite cars at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed; the Hennessey Venom F5. This american beast is powered by a rear-mid-mounted 6.6 liter twin turbo V8 engine that generates 1,817 hp at 8,000 rpm!

@@nobedz6688 both great cars. But I think they are more refined and more tamable than the Venom F5 in terms of power delivery and handling. Just the rawness and craziness, Venom F5 is definitely on another level. Crazy amount of power & sound from a fire spitting V8, and potentially the highest top speed of any road legal cars. But on the race track, I think there are a lot of cars that are better suited than the Venom F5, simply because it's too crazy and it needs some of the best drivers in the world to handle.

Wow. This is impressive. I'd seen it on the runway, but not like this. Complete opposite to the GMA T50 in every way, but equally cool and exciting. You can see the kind of torque it's generating when the boost comes on - sits right back on the rear suspension and looks like it's about to take off.

@@kranichkrone Hi Looney! While driving an E you can feel the same G Forces and also speed. The lack of sound itself it's like a "food without salt".. The sound is part of the joy of the combustion engine cars. You literally "feel" the sound, is a vibration. Also, in combustion engines you have a variable range of power.. the power can "surprise" a driver (specially turbo ones)... it's a lot more fun. 01:41 extra point.. look at the flames mate!

So we have : Jesko Absolute - Venom F5 - Tuatara.....My favourite so far is the SSC , but I'm liking the F5 more and more. It seems honest , sounds good , looks good , is FAST as funk and looks like much fun. The Jesko seems like a slow burner for me , so far.....I'm not even going near the top speed of each machine as it is pure madness.....I like!

Thats only for one-off high speed runs. It requires unlocking a special "mode" which you cant do except with the factorys permission. And it only gives you 1500 hp if you run on 110 octane gas. On normal fuel you get around 1200."

Honestly, i don't care if this car was a controversial car back then, or whether people are arguing about this v/s the Koenigseggs and Bugattis. What amazed me is how an already raw sounding V8 after putting fat turbos, makes it even more raw. The sound, Those huge Flames, and boy, that insane acceleration! And the design is on the other hand, elegant! Hennessey has come a long way. And now i think they've finally claimed that America can also make a Hypercar which rivals the world of other hypercars, not just muscles!
