Can someone explain the difference between depreciation and amortization? I'm still confused. If we translate depreciation as амортизация, how we can translate amortization then?

The key difference is that depreciation is for tangible assets, and amortization is for intangible ones, but both in Russian would be амортизация, right?

Both are translated as «амортизация»; however, depreciation (амортизация основных средств), amortization (амортизация нематериальных активов)
