Effective vdo lecture bt as a professional Batch costing is a modified form of job costing which is undertaken in firms where product is produced in batches.The term batch refers to the Lot in which the articles are to be manufactured.It is there also known as Lot Costing. In case the batches r repetitive the costing work is much simplified.since batch costing production is done in batches nd each batch consists of a number of units the determination of optimum quantity to constitute an economical batch is all more important.such a quantity can be fixed on the basis of some formulae nd principles as r applicable to economic ordering quantity of materials for top management related to updates with respect to Productivity nd goals with in organizational budget nd to understand pros and cons of the Determination of Economic Batch Quantity in brief in my views.Vry.inspiring and informative lecture on the topic in nutshell.Thanx for your point of views.
