It's that much to minimum damage, but it's an execute so it's increased by up to 300%, and then the fourth one obviously crits as well. Max non-crit damage increases by 56 on level 6 and 176 on level 16.

I don't get it, is any buff to his ult really enough to take him from being unplayable for the best Jhin player to a God now? Like it determines such a small amount of what his capable of and doesn't even effect lane phase.

Yes. Jhin after laning phase did 0 damage. His problem wasn't the laning phase, his problem was out of the laning phase. They buffed his ultimate roughly 15-20% OVERALL damage. Which is huge from early - mid - late game.

it's worth noting that his ult doesn't have separate minimum and maximum damage numbers, but a minimum and a multiplier. so while the numbers might seem small, that's when hitting a full health enemy, before it's shoved through one of the biggest missing health multipliers in the games ( it's up to x4 damage, so at half health, a target takes _x2.5_ damage instead of the typical x1.5 ). and it's dealt upwards of four times, with each consecutive shot dealing more and more damage due to pushing the multiplier further and further, capping off with the fourth's doubled-or-more damage from the crit stacking _multiplicatively_ with the missing health multiplier and for a different context, it's a damage increase on the thing equivalent to 56 / 116 / 176 extra ad

there's no guarantee that they push up to the tower. I wanted us to get soraka then be done but we got lucky soraka and sivir went even deeper. in high elo you don't want to gamble your opportunities and nautilus did that but we got lucky the coin was on the winning side

Oh hell naaah. Dont underestimate how powerful armor pen is, combined with Lord dom and lethality you could easily crit a tank for 2k. GP is a good example
