Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using 3 or more monsters from your hand or field as material. You can also banish monsters from your Extra Deck as material, up to the number of monsters your opponent controls, but you lose LP equal to the total ATK of monsters banished this way, when the monster is Fusion Summoned.

what I don't like is that you are dependant on the opponent. if he has 3-4 monsters on the field he will probably have something to negate your fusion spell

I mean, using extra deck as material is insane in itself. Sure, there's the price of taking damage equal to atk, but there are ways to work around the atk dmg since they use 0 atk materials.

@@rythvicr3240 all the best fusions only require 2 materials. This is why fusion is in mg opinion the best extra deck method. All the others usually require monsters on the field and sometimes in the hand. Fusion can consistently use materials from almost anywhere, hand, field, gy, banished, opponents stuff, your deck and now even extra deck. Fusion used to be the method that almost felt like you used more than you should have, but now so long as you have a card you can fuse with anything

@@Pikaholmes221b typically cost three cards thats why, the fusion proc, other mechanics only need 2 cards always. Fusion is one of the worst mechanics that's why it needs broken mechanics like mill half your deck or, fuse into fuse into fuse to do anything.

Not really, it needs your opponent to have a field to use its broken effect so its a strictly going 2nd card, a side deck option really

No, it is not broken. It wont see any competitive plays. It requires 5 Extra Deck slots just for a boardwipe. It is simply not a good trade.

I think it is not as good as Greater Polymerization. Losing that many LPs makes it a great gamble when using High ATK monsters from Extra as Fusion Materials.

Eh, takes up a lot of valuable ED slots, isn't searchable by most decks (and the fusion decks that could search it especially don't have the ED space to run a Z-ARC package), and gives opponent's 2 opportunities to stop it by either spell negating H-Poly or monster negating Z-ARC. It's cool but seems more efficient to just run Raigeki or Lightning Storm instead if you need destruction based board breaking that bad. Only destroys monsters, but you don't have to worry about monster negates stopping it, and they doesn't cost any ED space. Rampage play is still good as a one card full combo, but non-archetype fusions just seem inefficient.
