As a Wattson main, I agree. USE. YOUR. ULT. I was one of those players who used to think her pylon was for digging into a defensive position and building up fences. It's for that, and for when you're taking cover behind a large rock while fighting another team out in a field, and for when you've got the high ground, and for when you're looting deathboxes after a tense firefight, and in a hundred other situations. By the time you've thrown down your ult and engaged in a fight, you'll probably already be halfway to your next. I can count so many times when I've regretted not throwing a pylon down, but almost none when I've regretted having one.

Ash’s tactical is a great tool for Arenas because you can snare enemies who are pushing in to avoid the ring outside of the ring and force them to take a ton of ring damage since they can’t get back into the ring.

Hi, a former bloodhound main here, a tip I can give is use the scan often. But don't over scan. Checking buildings youre rotating to can be useful, but most of the time you'll see a footprint before you enter, so watch out for the footprints before you scan

@TimProVision for Octane, please tell everyone they need to remove the FOV change on abilities. That is why it feels like like it works because your FOV gets bigger stimming. It's a visual effect that makes it feel like it's farther.

Go to settings, Then go to the Video section. You will see an option called FOV Ability Scaling you are going to want to switch it to disabled. Boom now your fov won't get wonky when using Bloodhound and Octane ults/tacticals (edit: thought you were asking how for some reason then read again. Leaving directions for the poor Tink Tink mains that need it)

But that effect also helps. It 2x zooms your optics making iron sights essentially a bruiser, a 1-2 variable into a 2-4, and a bruiser into a 4x. So it definitely has pros as well as cons. About the Crypto tip: the joke of Crypto being the ability with the drone being the player is not how you should think. The drone should be treated as a fourth ultra recon/initiator teammate, but Crypto himself and his gunskill is more important (one of the reasons Crypto is so hard to play)

Also a rampart main, since season 7, the way I really like to use shiela is whenever I know where the enemy has to run to. For example the gravity cannons are amazing for this. Or even zip lines. As someone who plays crypto from time to time the idea of not using your drone a lot is kind of a wierd tip. This is because if you want to actually hit someone with your emp you have to maneuver it hardcore, even then the drone getting shot out of the air is pretty common. If your team isnt fighting anyone and your holed up in a location, using a drone to bait an enemy team to draw their attention to the drone and start shooting at it is pretty good. Also if your with bangalore, pop smoke then drone over smoked area is pretty good. But my main tip is... 1. If someone is chasing you throw the drone at the ground and when it detects someone activate emp, can really help with getting away.

Crypto main here. One thing I usually do is throw my drone out at the start of the fight diagonally up so it'll be highlighting enemies while they're moving and repositioning. Large chance of the drone being destroyed but if you're shooting at them at the same time, they usually don't prioritize it. Another thing I've done is when I'm in the middle of a fight and need to slip away and heal, I make sure to put my drone just slightly above/beside me. It gives me an extra second to react to someone pushing.

I have a small problem with the mad Maggie tip, alot of the times were in the middle of a fight and can't pay attention to that number for a long time. Mostly it's a quick glance unless it's before a fight and is being used to ambush players, a tip I'd give is, always be running with your shotgun out and be close to cover at all times, use ult aggressively and not just as movement speed, the stun and slow have helped me win countless fights. Also with the riot drill fire it at angles beside door ways so your hitting the ppl behind the doors and not the actual doors. Reason being is you can play around doors with Maggie, is a very strong point of her whole kit doors and corners are when you should feel the absolute strongest

One thing gibby mains can do is to throw the shield distant facing infront of a ongoing fight then throw a frag grenade at the far end of the shield. If an enemy try to invade the shield ,you can cancel the revive and punch the enemy back. The frag grenade will explode and take away a chunk of the shield

As a mirage main, I can agree with what he says players do. It’s something I constantly think about when trying to show other people who might be interested in him, and it took a solid 5 weeks to get into the habit of using his tactical (in my opinion) the right way. When in scenarios like an enemy has a way better position than me and tries to block me from moving forwards, I launch a decoy and the moment I hear a shot at the decoy I book it, because something people don’t realize is that player almost always reload the moment they get bamboozled. It can get you killed, but 19/20 times I do this trick I get out fine. I’d finish my thought but I’m already typing too much ;~;
