I thank you so very much. Your preaching and teaching administered exceeding grace, knowledge and surged the Holy Spirit in me. It drips love from every word. May God heap greater blessing on you and preserve you happy, healthy and full of success. Thanks again.

This is my favorite part of the bible. God have mercy on me a sinner, and on all of us. Amen.

This is a passage about how God loves. This is how Jesus loves us in his perfection. The same way he could walk the tight rope of the law and none of us can. This is what we can aspire to: to love each other like Jesus. It’s really important to try, but we can’t shame ourselves because we can’t do it perfectly. We’re not perfect. With all my heart I wish to lead my family and love my wife this way. I feel like I fail most every day, but I pray for help. I pray for us all

I really appreciate this because I realized how much I needed to learn these principles over and over in order for my life 👍 to grow in the love of God.

Just read World Religions by Huston Smith. He said it appears first Christians had joy of life because they had less fear, guilt and selfishness. He said they had been healed by the love Jesus taught through St. Paul.

The love the passage is referring to is our knowing He loves US.

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (January 30, Epiphany 4), this was our New Testament Lesson of the Day. Some thoughts: You could scratch out love and write "Jesus" in its place. Also, this passage is read at weddings. Finally, Corinth: the New York City/Las Vegas of the Bible. Agree or disagree? Feel free to reply.
