Chat complaining about lone hero lux. Yeah it's toxic and will be balanced soon but it literally is not a bug. The champ and the augment are technically working as intended it is just really really good and the devs didn't know that. Obviously they will balance it next patch.

Yeah it drives insane (I'm one of them) to see a 1cost do this stupid amount of damage, but honestly she requires 3 perfect items and 1 augment to work and is not even a guaranteed first, since late game champions can cc her while 4 and 5 costs carries can oneshot her. I totally agree, but at this point I have a question: how can devs, at set13, still be this bad at balancing and hotfixing broken and unhealthy things? I honestly start to expect more, every set is the same music, it starts to get annoying for me

​@TheJohnbusi So to be fair, it's impossible to predict anything and everything that's going to be broken or underpowered, especially when a new set is released. And the more sets they release the more often things will be completely changed around for people to find the broken things. And this lux build just started to pop up within the last few weeks, right when alot of Riot employees are on Christmas/New Years break. It's just unfortunate timing for a hotfix/nerf

I hate that you can reroll the same anomalies now, it makes no sense and makes it way too luck based. I had double carry 3* Steb and Maddie (with combat Medic) and the augment that gives you your anomaly on another champ as an item. Rolled over 60 gold and couldn't find the 4 star anomaly, completely ruined my game plan. Forcing by rolling 50+ gold should be an okay tradeoff, but full luck anomaly just sucks imo.

The augment that doubles anomalies makes it so you can't hit certain anomalies: the 4-star 1-cost anomaly is one of them unfortunately.

I don't think this comp needs a nerf. It is only playable when you get mage armor, alongside bis items (which means that in 90% cases you have to be on a lose streak in the early game) and 3 star all of your front lane since lux needs time to ramp up. This is one of the hardest setups in the game, and there's nothing toxic about it. Remember mascot yuumi? That was toxic. Lux just isn't.

But it is toxic. You don't need BIS items to winstreak early, just one Archangels/BT is enough to full-streak the entirety of stage 2 and half of stage 3 with a Lux 2. You also don't need 3 star frontlines either, sincd she only needs around 12-15 second to ramp up. The only requirement (after rolling Lone Hero) is getting her to 3* and hitting Mage armor, the latter only meant to guarantee first place as the comp's enough to go top 4 even with a suboptimal anomaly.

@RiverNunu i've tried a few games with lux and went mostly 7th and 8th. I've seen countless times people try and fail. There was ONE game when i made her work and it was godly, after which i said to myself i'll never try that trash comp again, lol. That's how hard it is to make lux work. Renata is a much easier and much more effective ap reroll comp that everyone abuses to get their top-4. Lux has to meet to many requirements to make her work, and hitting ONE specific anomaly is the most important and hard. She isn't good with any other anomaly.

The problem with Lux it's that AP has no diminish return at high end. For ejample,100 armor when u have no armor it's a lot,but 100 armor when u have a lot of armor isnt a lot. But "x" AP it's still "x" AP. U dont have that with ad,dr,armor,mr or anything else on TFT. They need to make that past x amount of ap there is a diminish return like armor or mr U cant have any other that a 5 cost 3 star make 20k dmg with 1 ult.

Armor and mr dont have diminishing returns, thats a myth

Nothing in this game has diminishing return, only things that have multiplicative scaling (resitances * health, damage * crit * amp., etc...). AP is additive scaling, it doesn't matter whether you go from 100->200AP or 1000->1100AP, the value will still be the same.

Go back to previous sets and ban all set 12 Syndra abusers. Go back to set 8 to ban all Yuumi abusers and Samira abusers too. Hey wait, where did the playerbase go?
