As a Crow main... Crow is not meant to be a damage dealer, or being assasin, etc. Crow is meant to be a annoying poke bastard. His poison is enough to make the opponent be out of combat. And when you get the ult / hipercharge, you just have to land it to all the enemies and combine it with the slow gadget. Even if you die or not, your team will take profit of it and it will be a team wipe. Crow gameplay is very passive until you get the ult. Crow loses against : Snipers, or sometimes any brawler that outranges him.

Crow's hitbox is the same as most other brawlers. You can view all hitboxes sizes in characters.csv file in the game. In short, there are only "3 types" of hitbox sizes: small (only for pets, for example Tara's shadow), normal (most brawlers) and bigger (many HP tankish brawlers). For example, Sandy, Pam, and Bruce have bigger hitbox. It's easier to dodge only because of movement speed. SanDragon has explained it in the video

Has been my favourite brawler since I unlocked him as my first legendary in 2018 I think (good old gambling era), back then he felt more unique because he was the only brawler with very fast speed (before leon dropped and broke the game) and DOT so you could annoy people by blocking their healing and making hiding near impossible whilst dodging every single thing they throw at you. Now that the meta has shifted to high dps/high health in recent years and the vision gear exists he lost some of his purpose. Still viable if played well, but most of the time there is a better option on most maps and modes. Best Brawler to play if you like psychological warfare, because the lack of healing as well as the constant chip damage will make your opponents mentally ill at some point, causing them to close the app and getting a free win against bots.

Regarding his build: I've been a crow main for quite some time before falling in love with Surge's playstyle, and how you build him should be determined by your playstyle. I have always been quite aggressive and used dmg starpower, dmg gear and mythic gear for decent dmg on range and good dmg as an assassin, but he can run the shield and/or the gadget gear too and be a strong support with the other starpower. Both gadgets are good in my experience, I usually decided depending on matchup or map. I have btw never felt like he doesn't do any dmg, it can feel that way cuz of low dmg per snapshot, bt his very consistent and good dmg over time makes up for that in my experience

so like if you really think about it you heal after a bit of not getting hit, and how long until you get back into the game is based on how much damage you took and crows poison automatically adds like 4 seconds to that so crows poison keeps people out of the game for like forever which is the equivalent of doing a lot of damage

when it comes to crow, he has some very niche matchups, but matchups that nonetheless he does really damn good against if you aren't braindead. Mid range and any close range brawler that doesn't have their mobility option up, a decent amount of tanks minus bibi are also fairly good. He also does good against brawlers that have a lot of range but also don't do much damage at that range like leon or fang, as long as you play the long game against those brawlers to tick them down since the poison will accumulate more dmg than those brawlers will if you keep your range

Lol i hate throwers, i suck so badly with throwers and i hate going against throwers the most. But ironacly ive always been the best with Crow. I think hes up there for fun imo but not the most fun. Hes consistently my highest ranked brawler. High mobility to get you out of any situation if you play him right. No one can hide from you, and if you play aggresive you force people away from you. I love him as a control assassin hybrid.

Crow is NOT a damage dealer, he’s meant to slowly chip away at an enemies health stopping their regen and finishing them off. In team modes crow is more like a support brawler as you need to just poison your enemies while your teammates do damage and since they’re poisoned it’s a quick and easy kill.
