My daughter started playing at 7, she is now 25. She can play the most complex music and has won awards. She has played at famous venues like Infinity Hall. You just have to stay at it and continually practice.

Yea, wasn't surprised at all he was looking at the piano for that movement. Moonlight is one of my absolute favorites, and I have a habit of using the 3rd to judge a pianists skill and stamina, because let's face it, that movement is an absolute monster.

Im a pianist of 13 years and id say the last song is within my capabilities but some of the earlier soongs looked harder imo😅 as long as you have the propper technique its mostly about just getting the muscle memory in. I always memorize each song as i cant read notes and my fingers just make it work eventually after training for a while.

@@Un1234l well this definitely was a bit of an exaggeration, I for sure play better now than I did ten or even two years ago. Though, the songs in this video are all really hard, and a few of the last ones are something I could play if I poured some time and effort (which I haven't really had to spear, mostly due to school being in the way) but the fact still stands, that this guy is much better pianist than I am. The fourteen years sound like a really long time, and don't get me wrong, it is, but considering I was only two years old when starting the dabbling in the realm of black and white keys, and arount two and a half when my aunt started to actually teach me things, I have only been playing with intention for only around a decade.

The 20 year mark is pretty misleading, moonlight sonata 3rd mvmt just sits really well on the hand and makes it much easier to play than it actually sounds. He put fantasie impromptu at 15 years and you could probably play that at more like the 8 year or so mark, id say it's harder than the 20 year mark because of the polyrhythm.
