DeSoto's QB is an incredible athlete and is really hard to tackle but he has no downfield passing game at all. It's all checkdowns and the quarterback running. DeSoto would definitely not beat any top team from California but North Crowley would definitely be a great team that could beat any of the top teams in the nation. What an incredible offensive game by both teams

In none of my 3 years living in CA did a resident have it on a football game unless it was a Niner or Rams playoff game. Let's be real the 3hr time difference is hard to overcome. Primetime 8p.m. game for me starts at 5p.m. for you. People are stuck in traffic for 2 hrs and aren't getting home until 7 and not in front of the TV watching a game until late in the 4th quarter. Meanwhile the Central and Eastern time zones plan their entire day, and have whole football parties every weekend. That's why football is completely irrelevant in CA unless the Pro-franchises or USC is doing well. Scream as loud as you want, but I'm afraid your math just ain't mathing my friend. California football fell off after the 70s. That's why you need the pay for play, booster funded, nationally recruited, NIL HS teams to make yourselves seem relevant on the national stage. The average income of someone moving from East St. Louis is $21k. In Desoto a family with an income of $60k can live comfortably. In Santa Ana, CA where let's say Mater Dei resides the cost of living is 150% above the national average with an avg rent for a 1bdr ranging anywhere from $2,600 to $3,400 s month. So for a family to relocate from East St. Louis to O.C, CA to attend a school like Mater Dei the move would need to be fully subsidized by the schools donors where as in the DFW there are opportunities for upward mobility everywhere around you. With the outstanding economy and low cost of living no such assistance is required. So in short a family doesn't relocate from East St. Louis to the DFW just for football. You've obviously never spent any time in East St. Louis have you? Makes Chicago look like a daycare.

@@CowboyFate Duncanville is a new power, whose power comes from having 5k students. MD and Bosco are powers because they recruit. Westlake and SLC are powers and they’re small schools. They always been great programs, great coaching, and unknown players. The unkown is what scares teams like Bosco and MD who have known players due to their recruiting. Because if MD and Bosco play those schools like Westlake and SLC, and lose, their program will be seen as inferior and in addition their coaches.
