more nice place for you guys to try out within Binh Thanh dist.- the famous & authentic Bun Nuoc Leo from the 2 beautiful sisters. In Trà Vinh, this dish with a distinctive flavor is a combination of unique fermented fish paste broth, thin rice noodles, duck blood curd, snake head fish and fried spring rolls as toppings. Since they want to adapt the Saigonese’s taste, there are also boiled shrimps & roasted pork added.
The dish is served with a dipping sauce, a combination of salt with chilies or vinegar with chilies. You can also enjoy the dish with herbs such as morning glory & shredded banana blossom, bean sprout, chives, basil, water lily, etc. These kinds of herb will help balance the dish’s flavor.
All the ingredients are fresh & clean. The broth is mild savoury which I think very suitable for someone who doesn’t get used to the pungent fermented fish. My favorite stuff is the crunchy fried spring rolls. What about you ?
