I'd personally aim for Fury of the Five Nights over grim toll and use darkmoon card. The stacks should get up easy as a frost DK.

Hey Austin! I think we talked on stream, but, for others - Fury of the Five Flights will be better on a fight that is longer than 1:05 provided that your onhit trinket (mirror/grim toll) procs instantly both times its off CD. This is because fury adds a significant amount of topend damage to all autos and all obliterates. In a short fight receiving the larger trinket benefit during lust / execute is going to play towards the strength of Grim Toll or Mirror of Truth.

All guides about frost dk i've read they all say you have to follow pestilence with a blood strike but I see you don't do that. Is that not as important as everybody says?

it only matters at the end of the fight when about 5 obliterates are left as subblood. in subunholy spec it actually matters

Whenever I drop my diseases, it is a mistake. As long as you instantly reapply them the damage lost is minimal.

Amazing how you got 100%. Seen a few things you could have done better. For example, at one point you focus on dumping your RP while you still have death-converted blood runes and leave them out ready for a while until they expire into blood runes when you could have blood strike that one. You seem to prio RP usage until starved while runes are ready, which you shouldnt. Also you didnt use army of the dead either. Blows my mind how its 100% parse. Good job.

Yep agree with that. Frost is rune usage over rune power. You want to use your runes when available and keep them on cool-down.

Blood strike is way worse then frost strike always. You can check yourself by hitting target dummies. I used army of the dead before the fight on all of these fights. Obliterate should be prioritized over frost strike unless you are >100RP with KM outside of the opener, however, blood strike should never be. However, I do make quite a few mistakes in the video. These are not the mistakes though :-)

For the way I play ideally when I have pooled a lot of runic power I will exclusively use frost strike if obliterate isn’t available, but as the runic power is spent I will do something like e.g. obliterate > frost strike > obliterate > blood. Not exactly but hopefully you get where I am coming from. Horn of winter and blood strike for when obliterate is on cool-down and runic power is running out

Yea this sounds exactly right! Prioritizing your runes is best for frost but blood strike sucks, we want to make sure its the last thing we would ever do if we can. When we are sub-unholy its more important to keep them synced and coming back as soon as possible since it will net us an obliterate.

fights short like those you should just keep ERW for execution phase and pair it up with alining procs. EDIT : also only your first BT+UA should be synced since you can just use UA by consuming 1 death rune and refresh Dieases with BT gaining 1 obli every 1 min extra .

@@TheRab101 You can disagree as much as you want but what benefit does three obliterates do besides fake dps burst in the first 10 seconds ? Its not like you are losing on Obliterates by saving up ERW instead you are cashing in on the below 35% execution phase + aline trinkets and procs making your Oblis hit harder. I showed you the benefit of doing it this way but you didn't at all besides saying '' You want to get your trhee obliterates on pull'' ( here is why ) .
