Actually, Milo does have a nose. I think the only time it’s really visible is his segment of the cut scene where they in introduced the gym leaders, but he does have one

8:23 Since Mismagius is based on a mage or wizard, it could also be a reference to a software wizard (a computer UI that leads a user through a series of steps to configure a program for the first time) or the phrase "tech wizard" (meaning somebody who is really good with technology). Because, y'know, computers and stuff run on electricity, and Iono is a livestreamer so she's very "plugged into" computers and stuff. 8:29 Many crabs also live in or near the ocean, and the yeti crab (which Crabominable is based on) lives deep underwater. So making it Water-type may be a reference to the Pokémon's actual inspiration. Other fun facts (correct me if I get anything wrong): - Lt. Surge goes by the name 'Lightning American.' Given the fact he was in a war where he was saved by Pokemon, it's possible he's a WWII veteran who fought on the side of the Allies. - Giovanni is the only character to be both a Gym Leader and an evil team leader. - Blue is the only character to be Champion, Rival, and Gym Leader. - Jessie and James technically count as gym leaders, even if they were only so for a short while. - Pryce is the main antagonist of Gold and Silver's manga. - For reasons I will never understand, half of Johto's Gym Leaders do not use a Johto Pokemon as their ace, if they even have one. - Norman is the only Gym Leader with family ties to the player character, being, of course, their father. - Crasher Wake is cool as fuck. - Lenora's newer design is way better than the old one, regardless of any possible racial stereotypes. - Iris is the only one of Ash's companions to become a Pokemon League Champion. - Hala is the only "Gym Leader" with family ties to a rival character. - Olivia is hot as fuck. Smash. - Bede and Marnie are the only rivals who become Gym Leaders within a single game. - Iono's gym trainers are actually her Tier-3 subscribers. - Larry is the only character to be both a Gym Leader and an Elite Four member at the same time. His Flying-type specialty is a result of the fact he wants to jump off a building.

jasmine has two pokemon that have nicknames. amphy the ampharos and rusty the steelix. also fantina has a nicknamed pokemon in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Floony the drifblim
