Love your inexpensive garland! You can also use PVC pipe instead of the wire & pool noodles - especially if you live where it’s windy as it’s more sturdy and inexpensive. Love your big candy - I got frisbees from the toy section for my big candy to make a garland in my kitchen

I would try wrapping the basket/gifts in white garbage bags to cover the holes, then add ribbon. I think the light will probably glow under the garbage bags as well.
