iDeathSniper doesn't seem to realize the the custom game browser's sessions are hosted on dedicated servers - meaning that all a lag switch would do is lag the person using it, while everyone else sees them running into walls and shooting into the ether. The 'host' in those games is just acting as the party leader, able to kick or ban players as needed. This is why when the 'host' leaves, the game just assigns another 'host' immediately, without any interruption to game play due to a migration. ANY LATENCY ISSUES YOU ARE HAVING ARE DUE TO YOUR OWN BAD CONNECTION. (though he does have a point about ping, but there's not much you can really do about that - create your own game in an attempt to get the closest server to you, I guess). Now I don't know about you, but I sure can't think of any reason a 16 player free-for-all infinite ammo snipers match on a small map built for two 4 player teams might be causing issues for machines that otherwise would be able to handle that - can't be the dozens of extra resources by the way of corpses and sniper/beam rifles littering the area.

"oh my, this guy thinks 5 ms against 100 ms is not host, insane how the kidos thinks with the servers inside his ass lol, "dedicated servers" for usa players, sure man, if you play out of NA you" 1. That's not what host is - a host wouldn't even have to worry about ping to the game server...that's like talking about a 5 ms latency while playing Super Mario Bros on the NES - it doesn't make any sense. You seem to understand that the host latency has an impact on the other players, but clearly don't understand how it works - not that it matters, because THESE GAMES USE DEDICATED SERVER, NOT THE HOST SYSTEM. 2. Having a closer proximity to the dedicated server still isn't fucking 'cheating', it's a physical limitation that literally no one in the world could solve without an actual advancement in networking technology. And that's a double-edged sword anyway, because the Halo servers are all over the world, not just in the US. I'm willing to bet when YOU have the best ping due purely to server proximity, it's just because everyone sucks, right?
