The only thing I probably wouldn’t do is decant things into containers that couldn’t hold all of it. If I’m decanting I want to be 1) aesthetically pleasing for me, and B) get rid of a container in the process. I don’t want to decant and hang onto remnants. But that is JUST ME, others homes and lives are not my own.

The only exception to this I have is if it's enough left over for one serving then I just eat / drink it. Like there's a handful of berries left? I'll just have a snack.

I think at that point the idea becomes saving plastic by buying in bulk, it's what I do. I buy enough to refill non perishable stuff like 4-5 times and keep it in more manageable containers. That's definitely not always the case in these videos though. Half the time they've got like two mL of cleaning spray left which is just a waste. I also like the logic of the other person that commented
